Dr. Dumpert, a Bedford native, is the proud owner of
Radiant Dental, a practice dedicated to delivering
exceptional dental care. His journey in dentistry reflects a
deep commitment to education, community service, and
clinical excellence.
After graduating from Bedford High School, Dr. Dumpert
pursued his Bachelor
’
s degree in Natural Science with
minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at Indiana
University of Pennsylvania. His educational journey
continued at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental
Medicine, where he completed dental school. During his
dental school years, Dr. Dumpert organized and led
dental mission trips to Honduras, providing essential
dental care to underserved communities.
Following dental school, Dr. Dumpert underwent a one-
year general practice residency at the Veterans Hospital
in Pittsburgh, further refining his clinical skills. In
recognition of his dedication, Dr. Dumpert received his
Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in July
2017. This prestigious award signifies his commitment to
excellence, requiring 500 hours of continuing dental
education, a comprehensive exam, and three years of
continuing membership with the AGD.
In June 2018, Dr. Dumpert achieved the highly esteemed
Mastership Award from the AGD, the highest honor
available in the organization. This accomplishment,
achieved by completing 1,100 hours of continuing dental
education across 16 disciplines, including 400 hours of
hands-on skills, reflects Dr. Dumpert’s unwavering
dedication to professional excellence.
At Radiant Dental, Dr. Dumpert takes pride in practicing
comprehensive, minimally invasive, preventive dentistry. His approach involves identifying and addressing dental issues proactively, preventing them from evolving into more extensive and costly problems. Dr. Dumpert is thrilled to return to his hometown, offering a dental home and long-term care to the community where he was raised.
